Great review! I have this exact same watch. Like the colorway. And I love the comfort on wrist. I think it has to do with the strap connection system that as you rightly pointed out, minimize overhang and make it wear smaller than my similarly sized GD-100 or your GD-010. I think the strap is quite good. Initially stiff, with wear it has become very supple. I like the weight of it, hardly massive and gives it a very sturdy feel. Overall, it is a very well built G-Shock that looks great and is very comfortable. Probably the one I like the most out of my 10 or so Gs.
Thanks for sharing. And yes, that's the word I was looking for about the band, supple. This is one of the most comfortable resin straps for a Casio G-Shock, even fresh out of the box.
That's actually an interesting subject :) It is mentioned in the page E-46 of the manual for this watch (also in any Casio 200M WR) : "Do not use your watch for scuba diving or other types of diving that requires air tanks". Casio have several Diver's 200M WR model like the GWF-A1000. As far as I know, as to why it is "forbidden" by Casio (and many other maker) to use the usual 200M WR for scuba diving, there's ISO 6425 standard for a diver's watch with much more severe test to pass than the usual WR rating (including visibility, temperature, magnetic resistance, overpressure, and so on).

Top quality review...as always😊😊The watch looks really stylish in black and gold, yet also has the typically rugged G-Shock look.
Thank you. Have a great day :)
why the bull bars required , i guess there was already enough depth to avoid scratches,
sir are there any 'other' budget casio or gshock watches on which we can change the date format to DD/MM?
I know only dw5600 tough solar can do that
G5600UE can, and I'm not sure if there's any solar DW5600.
Other model I know is WV200.
@@SamsWatchReview sorry i meant the same g5600ue solar one...haha
Why did you say "except scuba diving?"
That's actually an interesting subject :)
